Your contact should then scan this QR with the authenticator app on their phone.- Later, if you are suspicious that someone is impersonating your contact (online, via text, or in a voice or video call), you can ask them to provide the 6 digit code displayed in the authenticator app from their phone.- If they are unable to provide the correct code, you can investigate further and decide on the next action to take.Troubleshooting:- Ensure the time is correct on both devices- Ensure the time zone is correct on both devices- Codes expire - try getting a fresh code from your contact before assuming the worst!ARYUYU works with any authenticator app that supports the TOTP standard, including Google Authenticator, Authy, and Microsoft Authenticator.
